Fraser is the world’s largest sand island spanning over 70 miles, from south
of Maryborough to north of
Bundaberg. With 403,000 acres of coastal heath, mangrove swamps, freshwater
lakes, subtropical rainforest, sand dunes, ancient trees more than 200 feet tall
and even its own shipwreck.
